Rebecca has ten years of experience at BSRIA and is a UKAS accredited test engineer for testing heat pumps, fan coil units and determination of sound power levels and sound absorption for all types of building services equipment. Rebecca has carried out heat pump test work for various schemes including the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), Energy Technology List (ETL), Home-heating Appliance Register of Performance (HARP) and Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) Appendix Q. She is responsible for the UKAS accredited chambers for testing air to air, air to water, water to water and brine to water heat pumps.
Rebecca has experience as an acoustic consultant, working on a range of acoustic testing and noise assessments. She has responsibility for the UKAS accredited thermal acoustic testing facility at BSRIA, testing heat pumps, air conditioning units, fan coils, and other HVAC systems. Rebecca is author of the BSRIA Publication “Understanding Acoustic Performance Data” (BG 41/2012) and is the lecturer of the BSRIA Introduction to Building Services Acoustics training course.
She is a member of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) Heat Pump Working Group. She is a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
